Ce Yang

ce_yang.jpgDr. Yang's research interests span remote sensing, robotics, hyperspectral imaging, computer vision, machine learning and prescription/yield mapping for precision agriculture. She mainly has used spectral characteristics to evaluate important plant characteristics including fruit maturity and nutrition. She worked as a postdoc in the Department of Computer and Information Science and Technology at the University of Florida for a short time before joining UMN. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in agricultural engineering in 2013 from the University of Florida.
