Loretta Ortiz-Ribbing

Loretta Ortiz-RibbingDr. Ortiz-Ribbing's research has focused on cultural and biological pest control, integrated pest management, population biology of soilborne fungal plant pathogens, and biological interactions between plants and disease organisms in conventional, organic, and sustainable production systems. Her other research efforts have focused on understanding how cover crops could be used to suppress plant disease, biological pesticides can be developed and used effectively, and pests can best managed in season-extension structures such as high tunnels.
