Bob Koch

Bob KochDr. Koch's research and extension work focus on applied ecology and integrated pest management of arthropods associated with soybean.  The goal of our work is to improve the environmental and economic sustainability of soybean production.  The program focuses on existing pests of soybean (e.g., soybean aphid, two-spotted spider mite) and new threats and challenges to soybean production such as new invasive species (e.g., brown marmorated stink bug) and arthropod resistance to pesticides.
